Its great- your posts are really encouraging me to investigate. After listening to a post on You Tube of T.D Jakes praying about the world, it is centred mainly on peace in the world. But Jesus said that he hasn’t come to bring peace but division. If I have got this correct the peace that is spoken of in the Gospels is about the peace that you receive when we have Jesus, which mean than when we go through trials, persecution and attacks from the devil – fear not, worry not for God is with you.
TD Jakes said that he wants his son to grow up in a world full of peace, away from danger. That is not going to happen unless every single person gives their life to Christ around the time that he is alive.
This type of teaching sets up people for a fall. The reason why this is is because this is not the promise that God gave us (peace on earth). Plus if we were to have peace on earth, why would we want to die and be in heaven with God. It is sad because as soon as these people stop receiving they are going to see their emptiness- lets just hope that they will repent and not turn away forever.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. (John 15:20)

Where is the persecution? I would love these ministers to meet a christian in a muslim country being beaten for believing in Christ.
