2 Timothy (3:1-
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their’s also was.
Notice verse 6- 7
This reminds me of those that follow Oprah and a lot of the popular female Televagelists, that have turned Christianity into Churchianity!
Now read verse 9
There folly shall be manifest
God will uncover all in the end!!!
He has already started uncovering in his house and he is working his way through every place, his eyes beholding all the good and evil. Nobody will take his place, the devil tried to exalt himself above God and look what happened to him. Oprah needs to watch herself!
This is really coming to light. I was sent an email about it and a video on my blog.
Well, at least Ms. Winfrey tells the truth about why she has turned from Christianity and now clings to the corrupt teachings of men:
“God is also jealous?… Something about that didn’t feel right in my spirit because I believe that god is love so that’s when the search for something more than doctrine started to stir in me.”
And she starts to quote that new age book… “Man made GOD in his image.”
Isn’t it crazy? She just said exactly what she is doing — making GOD into her own image of HIM…putting him into her own box.
And she like what she heard/learned about GOD’s character, so she dumped HIM. And started to search for satan (I mean, basically that’s what she’s saying).
Pray that the LORD opens the eyes and hearts of those who will believe Him.
So sad.

I don’t think Oprah is any more dangerous than most anything you see on TBN at any given time.
A brief list of their roster includes Paula White, Benny Hinn, Ken Copeland…and many in their image.
I thought Oprah claimed to be a Christian up until a few years ago when she “OPENED HER MIND”…YIKES!
Anyway, I guess what I am saying this is all just fantastic publicity for Oprah.
CHURCH, we need to get our OWN lives together repent, pray and lead a life that reflects the wonderful savior we cling to!
Love your blogs, Alan.
I beg your pardon, Mr Daniels, not to be argumentative, but we cannot take a yawn and nap attitude toward this following. Oprah has been wooing people for years and has a million-fold following. It’s time she was addressed and by this church, meaning those of us whom care about the lives about to be lost to Satan. Paula White, Benny Hinn, etc, didn’t have millions following them to the slaughter. Hinn’s basically become a household joke by now, and so will Oprah! I’m not worried for you and I, but we should be concerned and ready to discern for them the truth (they are being slighted).
We are to be armed. Is this not part of the battle?

I have been saddened about Oprah for a very long time. I was born in the same year as Oprah and I was very hooked into the same things she is NOW into, as I was seeking for something other than Jesus Christ. I had itchy ears for all the new age stuff, and even pursued a counseling graduate degree. After five years of counseling people with my wonderful personality and clever statements (ala modern psychology and new age thought) I realized I was not helping anyone and that we all needed God. The relative truth thing got to my stomach as my clients had multiple abortions and I got an inside view of how people were living. Their so called “freedoms” were making them miserable. Jesus Christ drew me to him and 10 years ago I was saved and it was like a Paul conversion, meaning, I knew absolutely 100% in that moment, God was GOD, and Jesus was my savior. I never have thought anything differently and I am a changed woman. I married and found a happiness and peace I never had when I was simply making my own rules. I, too, in my previous life had tried to reinvent God for my own needs.
I say, WE PRAY FOR OPRAH. Perhaps we should all pray at the very hour that she is holding this web class. She is so deceived, and I know that in her heart she believes she is helping people. But she needs a NEW HEART. I want to see Oprah have the freedom in Christ I have, and to make restitution for leading people down a very dark path.
Amen is all I can say to that
Hi, I just bumped into your site on blogged.com and looks like we share the same view on real Christianity… So far, I like what I am reading.
keep it up!
I’ve used the expression “Church of Oprah” as a joke for years, but never did I think that it would become a reality. It worries that over 2 million have pledged their allegiance to the CoO…then again people will flock to a heresy which makes them feel good that to the truth which may bruise their inflated ego
Thanks Hazel for the encouraging words
Yes Doug I agree. The funny thing I have heard christians still sticking up for Oprah but I suppose that is the days we are living in

I think you are misunderstanding what I wrote. I am not implying in any way to take a “yawn and nap attitude” regarding Oprah, I am saying that we need to get up off our hind-sides regarding people such as Hinn, White and several others.
It isn’t acceptable to drill a woman who is not a believer for proclaiming things that are anti-Christ while simply laughing off the ridiculousness of others who CLAIM to be Believers but teach such horrible errant doctrine..
If anything I am asking each of us to step up our game.
