More and more, I am quite convinced that there are many christians who do not know how to present the gospel, especially if they found themselves in a situation like this. Yet the gospel is the foundation and I believe that every Christian should be able to explain it.
In this situation, would you be able to unfold the gospel or would you just tell him to ‘just say this prayer‘? People may be dying right within our church walls with a terminal illness but many churches are botching the altar call.
Maybe its just me, but I am passionate that we present the gospel clearly so that they understand it
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. (Matthew 13:23)
