Last Friday, I went to the Unashamed Tour in London. What can I say about these guys? They were off the chain. Why? Because in between each song, first and foremost, they ministered the word of God and were very thought-provoking. Any non-christian who went there would know without a doubt that it was ALL about Christ. There was no ifs or buts. They showed their knowledge and skill in the word by what they said. The gospel was preached clearly which is always a plus in my book. Those who were there were able to understand that the focus was not on the music but on the message.
Lecrae talked about his new album ‘Rebel’ which will be coming out in September and there are two pre-order options:the Regular Edition or the Deluxe Edition. Join Lecrae in redefining “Rebel”. When you hear the word, what do you think of? Jesus was a Rebel in his day. He lived for something other than the pursuits of the popular culture of the day. He stood against traditions that pointed away from true worship, and instead presented an authentic picture of living for God. One thing that Lecrae said at the concert that rang so true was that previously, the definition of a rebel was someone who behaved badly, slept around, got drunk etc but now the tables have been turned. Everyone is doing that and the rebels are now those who go against the culture of the day. I am looking forward for the album to drop next month.
