Taken from The Way of the Master Minute

Dry Eyes, Hard Heart

Few of us have to be reminded of the love of God in Christ. But that cross should also speak of the wrath of God and the fate of the ungodly. We must pray for tender hearts that will weigh heavy if we meet an unsaved person, or even walk past them without reaching out either in words or with the written word. May our evident, tender hearts shame the hard hearts within the Church. It seems that most of us can weep at every human tragedy, and even the death of a pet dog, but we never even shed a tear at the ultimate tragedy of Hell. Our dry eyes reveal hard hearts. We either don’t believe the horror that “whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15), or we don’t care. Both are sin. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.

I recently found your blog and have greatly enjoyed it! The posts have encouraged me a lot, and I look forward to many more. My heart has grown cold for the lost, and I am ashamed of myself. Thanks for posting this!

Dont worry Morgan, we have all been there. The question is what will you do now?
