Soli Deo Gloria is the teaching that all glory is due to God alone.. Here are some scriptures which talk about this

1 Corinthians 10:31

31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

1 Peter 4:11

11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Romans 11:36

36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Romans 11:36 summarizes it all. Everything we do should be for His glory and everything God does, or allows to happen is for His glory. Read John 11:1-44 when Jesus could so easily have performed a healing with Lazarus, but instead He delayed and performed a resurrection instead. When Lazarus had died, Jesus said to Martha

Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?

We can never fully understand why God allows certain things to happen but as believers we can be rest assured that God knows best.

God is explicit in Isa 42:8 that He will not give his glory to another and if we look at Acts 12:23 we can see the danger of trying to take the glory away from God

Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.

Let us learn from this and give God ALL the glory because He and He alone is worthy

That is the end of ‘The Five Solas’. As I stated originally, I have tried to just keep it simple so that anyone who reads it can get a good understanding. I hope it has blessed you
