Following on from my last post about bad hermenutics, below is a classic example. In fact this is just plain wrong on so many levels. I think the video speaks for itself

Some of you who read my blogs who call me judgmental etc, I really would like to see how you defend this one

  1. Jason says:

I am a native Louisianian and this guy is an embarrassment to us all.

  2. Henry says:

“And many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many!”

This guy Jesse Duplantis is no stranger to making outrages statements/claims. What I find even more surprising is that so many people can sit under him and become so mesmerised that they can’t see that this guy is a false prophet.

  3. Jason says:

Even if he spoke truth, he’s so annoying and silly I can’t imagine listening to him week after week!

  4. j.d. stegall says:

Alan- not sure why people are calling you judgmental, but if they actually read the scriptures we wouldn’t have so many taking the bible out of context. christians are supose to judge, but with a right heart. and when we see false teachers, prophets and other suposed christians we are to expose them like the frauds they are. in 1 cor 5 Paul tells us clearly how to deal with blatant sin inside the church body that is unrepentant. the book of Jude also talks about how these clowns infiltrated the curch and even ate dinner with these charaltons unknowling b/c they were so clever and slick with their words of poison. keep doing the good work b/c you even helped me look deeper at finding these heretics in a blog i did earlier, called The baby Got Up! regarding an error i made at http://www.todaystruthwriter.com/2010/02/03/jds-error-report-follow-up-to-the-child-got-up.html i owe that one to you, my friend b/c i’m not in love with my own words so much as i am the Word of God and his truth and have no problems with admitting it. the bible says, the wise judge themselves so they dont have to be judged. praise the LORD!

  5. Hi Alan,

Thank you for your continued endurance in the pursuit of truth. Jesus heard His share of insults and accusations throughout His earthly ministry right up to the last second of His life yet He fulfilled His Fathers wishes even though He didn’t have to. I pray that God’s grace surrounds you during the days when fulfilling the work your Father has asked you to do brings insults and accusations, and you continue to endure all the way to the last second of your life even though you don’t have to.

    Be Blessed Brother!

    Phil

  6. brother willy says:

I can’t believe that I used to think this false teacher was a man of God. Up until two years ago I would listen to him every chance I got. I thank and praise the Lord for delievering me from his false doctrines.

  7. This man is nothing but an abomination to the kingdom of Christ! He had better wise up real quick and take note of how God deals with people who speak for him in such a way. In the book of Job, when God showed up, he was ready to destroy Job’s friends giving their thoughts as if they were God’s voice.

    God said in Job 38:2

“Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?”

The LAST thing I want God to accuse me of is speaking for him with words without knowledge. There is a heavy price to pay for that! I highly suggest that Mr. Duplantis take heed.
